Former US President Donald Trump beat current President Joe Biden by 6 points if the US presidential election is held today, according to an election poll by UK-based company Redfield & Wilton Strategies.
After president Joe Biden’sapproval rating in the United Statesdropped to 41 percent, an election poll by Uk-based company Redfield & Wilton Strategies showed interesting results. A survey of 1,500 US adults conducted by the company on December 18th concluded that Trumpcould beat Biden by 6 points if the US presidential election were held today. By hypothetical matchup, 44 percent of respondents said they would vote for Trump and 38 percent said they would vote for Biden, while 12 percent said they would vote for another candidate and 1 percent said they would not.
Forty-four percent of respondents said they approved of the Biden administration’s policies, while 38 percent said they disapproved. On immigration, 46 percent of respondents said they disapprove of the Biden administration’s policy.
According to official results, Biden won 51.3 percent of the vote and Trump 46.9 percent in last year’s U.S. presidential election. Biden won the election with 306 delegates compared to Trump’s 232. The candidate who gets at least 270 of the 538 delegates, not the most votes in the U.S. electoral system, wins the election.
