Russia sent its team, which will shoot a movie in space for the first time in the history of cinematography, from the Baikonur base of Kazakhstan with the Soyuz MS-19 spacecraft .

Russian Space Agency (ROSCOSMOS) and Perviy Kanal and a production company, the team received special training at the Yuriy Gagarin Cosmonaut Preparation Center for the shooting of the movie “Vyzov” (The Test), and after completing their preparations, they were put on the MS-19 spacecraft at the Baikonur base.
The spacecraft with Klim Şipenko, actress Yuliya Peresild and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, who will sit in the director’s chair of the movie to be shot in space, was launched into space at 11.55 CET.
Part of the shooting of the film, which will feature “the first feature-length drama film to be shot in space” in the history of cinematography, will take place on the International Space Station (ISS). The crew will stay on the ISS for 12 days.
The film crew is scheduled to return to Earth on October 17 aboard the Soyuz MS-18 spacecraft, led by cosmonaut Oleg Noviskiy.
