TEKNOFEST Within the scope of the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival, the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races organized by TUBITAK since 2005 and the High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races organized by TUBITAK for the first time this year will be the stage for the struggle of electric vehicles prepared by young people from design to technical equipment.

Electric Vehicles Get Their Energy From Young People

While intensive R&D studies are carried out in our country and around the world on increasing domestic production related to electric and hydrogen energy-powered vehicles, developing products with high added value, and battery-powered vehicles, which are the technologies of the future, the use of electric vehicles in our daily life is becoming more widespread. The International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races, which aim to produce the most efficient vehicles from design to technical equipment, are organized in two categories: Electromobile (Battery Electric) and Hydromobile (Hydrogen Powered). Of the 111 teams that applied in the International Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races, which can be attended by all university students studying in our country and abroad, 67 of them are counting down the days to the championship competition.

The High School Efficiency Challenge Electric Vehicle Races organized by TUBITAK for the first time this year are attended by students from high schools and equivalent schools in Turkey and TRNC, and high school students from BILSEM and Experimental Technology Workshops and Science Centers. To raise awareness about alternative and clean energy sources among high school youth; teams in the competition aimed at providing technical, professional and teamwork experience to students and training technical support and human resources for the development of electric vehicles in our country; The single-seat and 4-wheeled cars are expected to complete 5 laps in 65 minutes.
